WWW 2011
A working group continued working on this great project at EJBM 2010 - watch this space!
And this is what Wild West has came up during the EJBM 2010!
Where? Switzerland
When? First weekend of March (Thursday 3 - Sunday 6 march 2011)
Who? Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal.
How many people? The site has 60 spots so we decided to divide the places as followed:
- 6 places per country (in the case a country doesn't fill the 6 places, this places WON'T be given to any other country, they will go to people outside the neighborhood!) = 48
- 6 places for the Content Staff (remember Ale is one of them)
- 6 Home Staff (3 France and 3 Switzerland)
STAFF:
- Home Staff: 1 coordinator that will tell the content staff what’s going on to make sure there is the food, materials, right number of beds …
It is up to both countries to choose their staffs.
- Content Staff: As discussed, being content staff for WWW is open to everyone from the Neighborhood.
An application form for content staff will be made by Ramzi and Fanny approved by Ale before the end of may. They are going to compile all the information analyze the strengths and weaknesses from each country and put them into the goals and the application form.
This form will be sent to the neighborhood by the 1st of June and will have to be filled before the 15th of July and sent to Fanny (fanny.sarraf@fr.cisv.org). At IJBC 2010 there will be a Neighborhood time were we will all together talk about the goals and the feed backs from our countries and decided on who is going to be Content Staff.
How to decide about the content staff at IJBC ?
Either every NJR from each country decided together with NH Coordinator and the last thing would be a vote.
- Receive all the Application form by the 15th of July (no late acceptance)
- Gather all the people from Wild West at IJBC 2010 present application (Fanny) and discussion.
- Junior NJRs from each country + NH Coordinator(Ale) gather together and discuss together (proxi if no NJR available). And if they can’t agree = vote.
Here is the list of the people that said that would like to be content staff of the WWW 2011:
· Jess
· Marie
· Murta
· Frank
· Fliss
· Gilles
· Simon
· Veerle
· Alba
· Rocio
· Merel
What do we want for the WWW?
We want a training weekend with fun, but always following the aim of training juniors (it won't be as "fun" as IBERICO or BeNeLux weekend)but less training then it was in 2010.
People who apply for coming must as well write down a motivation letter, where they would say why do they want to participate in the WWW, in order to make sure the people sent are motivated enough and understand the goals (it is why it's important to set the goals before).
LMO: the hosting country will be in charged of finding an organization that would come give a presentation. We <3 LMO !!!
We want the input of everyone as it is our week-end. Therefore, there is a Forum on JBpedia about the Strenghts and Weaknesses and what Goals do we want or simply what do you want to do in WWW 2011 or just spread some LOVE... just follow the Wild West Weekend 2011 Forum.
