What?
We work directly with Juniors and Junior Branches across the world to support the growth and development of their work. We are in continuous contact with National and Local JBs to help you improve the quality and quantity of your work.
Under this field all cooperation work in practice is included, as well as all JB strengthening work and training workshops. We support and encourage cooperation with NGOs in order to have a richer development of our JBs and Juniors.
Growth and Development is one of the three areas of the IJB Committee, which is a group of people who work together in order to improve Junior Branch worldwide, focusing on specific areas. Read more about the Committee here.
Why?
Why do we have a Growth & Development team?
We foster cooperation and communication among JBs to achieve the following:
Perpetual JB development of JBs (meaning: improving the quality and increasing the quantity of JB projects and JB volunteers' work and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the JB administration).
- Inter-JB projects that achieve the goals of JB in ways that a single JB could not do alone.

Our projects and discussions
- We support all Cooperation activities throughout the world, such as Workshops, JB Weekends, Trainings and Regional Meetings.
- Rewriting EJB TOR discussion.
- Joining development strategies and efforts between IJB and ODC.
- We are exploring strategies for development through cooperation in smaller groups such as NoDs or Neighbourhoods.
